Milling Wheat Conference 2020

The 2020 Milling Wheat Conference, run by AHDB in association with nabim, will take place on Thursday 27th February at the Marriott Hotel, Kingfisher Way, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 6FL. For full details, including the registration form, click here.

The conference explores the challenges and opportunities facing the milling wheat sector and covers the entire supply chain, featuring presentations from researchers, farmers, grain store managers, millers and  bakers.  This year's conference will particularly focus on how farmers can achieve milling quality.

The winners of the YEN Wheat Quality Competition (more information here) are also presented with their awards. The winners of this competition produce crops with high yields and excellent milling quality. A panel is held to discuss each farmer's approach to maximising yield without compromising on quality. Loaves baked from the top ten finalists of the quality competition will be on display at the event.

Aside from the new technical information, the event also provides an excellent networking opportunity, with sectors across the supply chain in attendance.

If you have any particular questions for millers, come and visit the nabim stand and make sure to fire away during the miller panel!
