Wheat Assurance Schemes

Millers in the United Kingdom and Ireland take great care over the sourcing of their wheat and ensure that their supplies are traceable.  Schemes such as Assured Crops and Scottish Food Quality Certification, which come under the umbrella of the Red Tractor scheme, provide the assurance of good standards on farm, supported by an annual independent inspection.  All UK wheat used by millers is sourced from assured farms.
