Statistics

The UK flour milling industry consists of 30 companies, operating a total of 57 milling sites.  Wheat is the industry’s main raw material, with approximately 6.4 million tonnes milled in 2010.  Flour production was approximately 5 million tonnes in 2010, averaging 88,000 tonnes per mill.
